انا كنت زيي زيكوا مش فاهم انا عايز ايه و لا هشتغل في ايه لما اتخرج و تايه جدا ,, خصوصا ان مشروع تخرجي كان digital electronics مش communications or related to the mobile لما اتخرجت بردو مكنتش عارف هقدم في ايه و ازاي ,, بس ربنا كرمني ب Mohamed Sayed Ibrahim ربنا يكرمه اللي شرحلي ايه هي communications او بالاخص mobile و خدوا بالكوا من بالاخص دي كويس عشان الفيلد ده مش بس موبايل ,, انا كان عندي خلفية بسيطة جدا عن الموبايل من الكورس في الكلية ,, قدمت في jobs كتيير جدا و كنت كل مرة بتسأل في حاجة معرفهاش فبروح اقرا عنها و اكتر شوية لحد مجتلي interview Orange ( Mobinil) ,, طب انا بعمل ايه هناك انا بشتغل في Technology Research & development team (skill center) ,, هكلمكوا اكتر عن التيم ده بيعمل اه بعدين ,, بس خلونا نجيب الحكاية من الاول شوية...
Mobile Field مش هو الابشن الوحيد في حالتك و انت طالب خريج electronics and communication department ,, في حاجات تانية و علي سبيل المثال و ليس الحصر Satellite , Embedded systems , و شركات الhardware & clouding ex EMC2 and IBM و غيرهم
بس خلونا نركز في Mobile Field ,,
انواع الشركات : vendors, like Huawei , Nokia & Ericsson
Operators, like Vodafone , Etisalat & Orange
طيب ايه هو ده ؟ operators are the customers of the vendors , vendors supply the operators by three main things , Hardware (sites , RF modules , Network elements in general ) , software related to those network elements and technical support to handle the Network and also the network maintenance system

Radio Teams examples ( Optimization , RF , Quality , capacity , planning ) these teams are having a lot of sub-teams and roles that handle the radio part and these teams need mainly two factors , first one basic background of the mobile network & fast learning because you will use new vendor related tools and you will need to get adapted to those tools in the quickest time.
Transmission teams examples ( transmission operations , transmission planning ) these teams need a strong background in waves because they mainly work in the MW links and the backhauling of the network and how the sites and the network elements will be connected to each other , also it needs basic background in the mobile network.
Core & operations teams examples ( CS core planning , CS core operations , PS core planning , PS Core operations , Charging and billing , supervision ) these teams needs Mobile network background , CCNA , Linux , any programming languages (preferred C++) ,and fast learning as you will use vendor specific tools in these teams also.
Power and maintenance teams (power teams, Rollout team, maintenance ) they are responsible for the operator switch and the Network elements inside each switch and if they will add any network elements they do the dimensioning of the capacity , power , and the action itself, these teams only need mobile network background.
Data Networks Teams ( Data network planning , Data network operations , security ) these teams need CCNA ( preferred if certified ) and basic knowledge in the mobile network .
Network Maintenance team is the team responsible for handling the OSS (operation support subsystem ) which is vendor specific and the role of it is monitoring the Network on the whole aspects (radio , transmission and core) also using this vendor specific applications you can perform a lot of actions related to different teams on the network , these team needs basic background in mobile network , strong background in Linux and C++.
Technology R&D team is the team responsible for validating and trying the new features , SW , HW and topologies and new products for all the network parts ( radio, transmission , core and OSS) and for all vendors , giving the green light for those new features to be deployed on the whole network , also it is the team responsible for knowing the new technologies and pass the knowledge to the other teams , and be responsible for validating the pilot phase of the new technology (ex LTE) , also the team is responsible for detecting any problem on the network and searching for a solution for this problem , this team needs basic background of mobile network , CCNA , fast learning , thinking out of the box and a lot of studying and reading.
